The care notebook

Sermorelin · a guide to finding care

Do my answers add up?

Put the answers beside each other. Look for clear names, clear reasons and clear next steps.

What is still missing?

Read back the doctor’s name, the pharmacy’s name and the reason for the proposed treatment. Can you explain each in your own words?

Mark each topic “clear”, “need an answer” or “stop here”.

  • Who makes the care decision?
  • Which public record did I check?
  • Who makes and sends the medicine?
  • What evidence matches the proposed use?
  • How does follow-up work?
  • What is the full cost?

What if I compete in sport?

Sermorelin was prohibited both within competition and outside it by the World Anti-Doping Agency’s current list in September 2026.

Its replacement list takes effect on January 1, 2027 and keeps that rule.

Bring this into the discussion with your sport’s rules staff as well as the doctor. Keep the answer with your care notes.

What is a useful next step?

Choose the open question that matters most and take it back to the doctor or the relevant board. Ask for an answer you can keep.

If the explanation still does not make sense, leave that gap visible. You can seek another assessment or leave the decision open.

A closed charcoal notebook and blank folded paper beside a red wooden pencil.
Leave room for the question still open.
